Refunds and cancellations

Basil Web Company is Matthew Basil, a one-person web design business in Tampa. These are the plain terms for trying us, paying, and stopping.
The free month
- We build your new site and put it live on your own domain. You pay nothing and give no card.
- If you don't pay by the end of the 30 days, your original site goes back on your domain and you owe nothing. You don't need to tell us; not paying is enough.
- Rather stop early? Just say so and we put your old site back, usually within one business day.
- Your old site isn't deleted while you try the new one, so switching back is quick.
Keeping the site
- If you keep it, it's $500 for the build and $25 a month for hosting and same-day updates, paid through a secure Stripe link.
- Because you've already tried the site free for a month, the $500 isn't refundable. We still fix anything that doesn't work as described, free, for 30 days after you pay.
The $25 a month plan
- Cancel whenever you like, by email or phone. It stops before the next billing date.
- The month you've already paid for isn't refunded, and your site keeps running until the end of it.
- Your site and domain are yours. If you cancel, we hand over the files and help you move them.
